
The availability of classroom space will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with fire department related activities taking precedence. An estimated four out of five children are not properly restrained in their car seat or booster seat. The City of Fayetteville is proud to support Child Passenger Safety. While we will not provide "free" car seats, our technicians will ensure that your car seat is properly installed, adequate for your child's needs, and serviceable. The Fayetteville Fire Department, in partnership with Safe Kids of Cumberland County, offer free car seat inspection and installation services, at various fire stations throughout the City.
